About me

Annalore Schneider
I was born in Leverkusen, Germany, in 1965, the daughter of Purificación Llorente Palomo and Carlos Zabalza König.

As you can see from the many foreign names, I am a quasi double immigrant child.

My grandfather was a language teacher at the Berlitz language school in Madrid and met my grandmother in Plauen in 1918.

I graduated in 1991 from the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germersheim department.

For several years I have been working mainly as a language mediator for government agencies and institutions.

Besides, I pursue my second great passion, namely didactic language education of young children.

At this point, I would like to emphasize how important it is that children with multicultural backgrounds also learn their mother tongue. They benefit from it all their lives! Not only do they master a second foreign language seemingly effortlessly. They also broaden their horizons from an early age. They learn early on that other countries have different customs. And even that language is a key to communication and understanding.

Bilingual education has a proven effect on childrens’ learning another foreign language at a later age. Therefore, it is favorable that children are introduced to a wide variety of languages as early as possible.

I support stays abroad and multilingualism from the bottom of my heart. To contribute to more language trips, I offer an NRW Abitur translation into English free of charge. Please feel free to contact me about this.
